Display Hacks (like changing the dpi and or resolution).Roms mocking older firmware (think of like a Virtual Machine). There also have been rumors that there will be a Starfront 2, but this is old news and I believe was shut down. There have been rumors that Gameloft will release an update that will be 2.0.0 that should allow it to work with Android KitKat (hopefully Lollipop as well), but I wouldn't bank on it. Sony (my research on the sony's aren't very much because I've never dealt with sony phones other than once): "New" Devices (new is new according to 2012-2013).The last device I got the game working on was the Motorola Droid Bionic, but I had to change the screen resolution in order for it to work properly (which requires root) and on the samsungs the last known device (officially) is the Galaxy S2 (however there is a hack that supposedly gets the S3 and S4 to play it). The variations are dependant on the computing and the graphic processors except for version 1.0.8 (the latest) which is a multi-build version to work with all SUPPORTING phones. Also because it is an old game, it has a hard (near impossible) to play on newer devices because it simply is just not compatible with most devices. Starfront has multiple variations on the android market and does not work on many builds. But because I found this post, I would like to update you. Old thread I know, I'm sure you probably gave up, have a new phone or maybe you magically found a way to get it to work (highly unlikely).
